We enjoy a long weekend in Ostend for their annual Maritime Festival - Ostend at Anchor
Ostend has long been a favourite coastal destination for the British, with it being just a short hop once on the continent. For this weekend the town celebrates Belgium’s maritime history through to the present day for the Ostend at Anchor festival. This thrilling event sees more than 150 unique ships sailing into the town. Admire the impressive ships, enjoy tours, listen to classic sea shanties and taste delicious smoked fish as they stroll through streets around the harbour which will come alive with local artisans and entertainers. Choose to stay in Ostend for the whole festival or join our optional excursion to the Venice of the North – Brugge, this trip must be pre booked and will operate subject to minimum numbers.

Day One
Early morning doorstep pick ups, then onward to Dover for our ferry crossing to France. Once we've crossed the channel we make the short journey into Belgium and to the resort of Ostend
Days Two & Three
Enjoy free time around Ostend and the festival
We will also be operating an OPTIONAL excursion to the beautiful city of Brugge, please note this trip will operate subject to minimum numbers and MUST be prebooked, if we do not reach minimum numbers for the excursion and passengers who have booked and pre paid will be refunded prior to departure
Day Four
Leaving Ostend this morning we head back to catch our late morning ferry back to Dover. Onward then back to the North West arriving back for approx. 8.30pm
