Our Cruise starts from the renaissance City of Mantua, the highlight of the cruise is surely our arrival into the unique and romantic city of Venice, but theres many other treasures too, with visits to Verona, Padua, Chioggia and one of Joan & Davds favourites beautiful Burano, theres some relaxing sailing too and free time to explore the stunning city of Vencie. Following our cruise we top off our holiday with a two night stay in the beautiful Tyrolean town of Mayrhofen before embarking on our journey home with our obligatory overnight stop in Boppard at the Rheinhotel Bellevue before our overnight sailing back into Hull. We sail onboard Croisi Europes MS Michelangelo with meals and drinks included, the size of this ship allows it to cruise the Venetian Lagoon and to moor close to Saint Mark's Square!

Day One
It's an early morning start today as we head down to Dover to catch the ferry to Dunkirk, we then continue to overnight in the Liege area of Belgium
EMDay Two
From our 1st overnight to our second, we enjoy a lovely journey through the Alscace region of France for an overnight just before the Swiss Border in Mullhouse
B, EMDay Three
travelling through the wonderful scenery of Switzerland and into Italy, we continue on Mantua in the Lombardy region where our Ship is waiting for us to board. We have a free evening on board in Mantua
B, EMDay Four
A free day in lovely Mantua, a gem of Italian art and architecture which beautifies Lombardy as a region. Built around three lakes supplied by the Mincio river, it is the city of Virgil and the Gonzagas characterised by an overwhelming charm and aiming straight at the heart of the visitors who will never forget it. Join an OPTIONAL morning walking tour or simply spend the day exploring the city at your own pace.

Day Five
From Valdaro we travel by coach to Verona, to spend the morning exploring this wonderful City of Love made famous by Shakespeare's legendary tragedy Romeo and Juliet.
Back to our shiop this afternoon and we spend the remainder of the day cruising
Day Six
Today you have a choice - We'll spend the morning cruising.
This afternoon, enjoy an optional excursion with A guided tour of Padua, the home of Saint Anthony. The city surrounds its medieval center with charming squares and palaces. Il Santo,
the Pontifical Basilica of Saint Anthony of Padua, sits among these and contains the remains of the city's patron saint.
As you enjoy the tour, the ship will cruise to Chioggia.OR, for those who decide not to join the optional excursion to Padua you will be transferred from Porto Viro to Chioggia often called "Little Venice," Chioggia sits at the southern end of the Venetian lagoon and offers colourfull building,s a large beach and warm Italian welcome. Enjoy some free time in Chioggia. This afternoon we begin the wonderful experience of Cruising in to Venice. Enjoy a free evening to explore the city on your own.
Day Seven
Today spend the day exploring Venice at your own pace or choose from one of the two optional morning excursions:
CLASSIC: Guided tour of Doge’s Palace and Saint Mark’s Square. You’ll discover Saint Mark’s Square and its famous basilica (exteriors) and take a tour inside Doge’s Palace, the official residence of Venetian dukes and the seat of the government until 1797. The current palace dates back to the 14th century and is considered by many to be the most beautiful in the world. A trek to the top of the Golden Staircase brings you to massive works by Tintoretto and Veronese and gives you access to the antechambers and a magnificent view from the balcony.
DISCOVERY: Venice and the Dorsoduro district. Free afternoon in Venice. Take the time to discover or rediscover the most romantic city in the world and join the Rialto, the city's emblematic bridge, located on the Grand Canal. From the bridge you will have a breathtaking view of the canal and the historic buildings that surround it.
Day Eight
Morning cruise in the Venice lagoon. From the sun deck, you will contemplate the silhouettes of churches and palaces silhouetted against the horizon. At the heart of this labyrinth of canals and islands, you will enjoy a unique experience admiring the landscapes and the ballet of the numerous boats using the channels. You will reach the island of Mazzorbo connected by a pedestrian bridge to the charming island of Burano. Enjoy exploring Burano—known for its traditional lacemaking and picture-perfect homes—on your own, or join the Optional excursion CLASSIC/ DISCOVERY: discovery of Murano island. Departure by private boat to the island of Murano, famous for its glass production. Guided walk through the island’s narrow streets, followed by a visit to a workshop to watch a glassblowing demonstration. We the set sail back to Venice

Enjoy breakfast on board this morning before disembarking and continuing our adventure. Heading back onto the mainland and begining our journey into the Alps and crossing into Austria, we arrive at wonderful resort of Mayrhofen and excellent Neue Post Hotel in thime for dinner this evening

A free day to enjoy the mountain air and the lovely town of Mayrhofen, maybe make use of the hotel's leisure facilities with roof top outdoor swimming pool and spa with indoor pool and sauna. Or simply explore the town or head up into the mountains on one of the towns Cable Cars
B, EMDay Eleven
Leaving Asutria behind, we enjoy the scenery as we travel into Germany and of course it's one of David;s favourites for our final hotel stay - yes we're heading to Boppard on the banks of the wonderful River Rhine and will be staying at the Bellevue Rheinhotel

Out final day on the continent takes us into the Netherlands to Rotterdam for our overnight sailing to Hull. Cabins with low beds are included along with breakfast. Evening meal is available at a supplement
BDay Thirteen
Arriving into Hull this morning we enjoy breakfast on board before disembarking and making our way beck to the north West arriving around lunchtime

We sail onboard Croisi Europes MS Michelangelo with meals and drinks included. The size of this ship allows it to cruise the Venetian Lagoon and to moor close to Saint Mark's Square! The restaurant is located at the back of the main deck and the lounge / bar at the front. The sun deck with sun loungers is the perfect place to relax and admire the panoramic view of Venice. All cabins feature en-suite shower, toilet, hairdryer & AC, Main Deck Cabins offer large picture windows and Upper Deck Cabins have additional high opening windows.
