A lovely new holiday to South Devon, including two wonderful Boat Trips in Dartmouth & Plymouth

Delightful Dartmouth has a rich Naval history being home to the Britannia Royal Naval College and you can often see the Cadets out on training drills along the River Dart. So, our holiday to this area of Devon will of course take us on to the Water – but don’t worry it’s for pleasure not Navy training. We’ve two boat trips included for you one taking in the tranquillity and nature of the River Dart, whilst our Plymouth Harbour Cruise takes in the coastlines of Devon & Cornwall, passing famous landmarks and heading onto the River Tamar to see the Naval warships and submarines. We’ll also visit the bustling resort of Torquay.

Excursion 1

We head to Plymouth - Britain's Ocean City and spend the day around the fabulous Brbican area, we start our visit with a Sail. The perfect way to see the sights of Plymouth, our one-hour scenic and naval harbour cruise departs daily from The Barbican Landing Stage. The knowledgeable skipper will provide an informative commentary, as we sail across Plymouth Sound flanked by the beautiful Devon and Cornish coast. We pass famous landmarks including, Plymouth Hoe and Drake’s Island, heading for the river Tamar where the mighty warships and nuclear submarines await! Following our Sail enjoy free time in this delghtful City by the Sea.

Excursion 2

Today we travel to Torquay, to enjoy a free day in this popular town on the English Riviera, see the famous Torbay Plams, enjoy a walk along the seafront and around the harbour or head to the shops or lovely Torre Abbey Gardens, there's plenty to keep you busy.

Excursion 3

We make our way to the heart of historic Dartmouth and start our day with a lovely sail on the River, keep your eyes out for the local Seals and wildlife and enjoy a laid back sightseeing sail. Following our sail it's free time to explore the delights of the wonderful town.
