Book NowWe’ve a wonderful new holiday enjoying the scenery the stunning West Coast of Scotland with plenty of treats thrown in as we explore this spectacular region. We’ll see coastal and mountainous scenery, beautiful Lochs – we’ll have a sail on one of them and on each excursion you’ll have the opportunity to sample a different from dram from a different distillery – which will be your favourite? The Oban Distillery sitting in the heart of the town it’s named after dates back to 1794, whilst in Campbelltown, once home to hundreds of distilleries now just three remain and up in Fort William you’ll find the Ben Nevis Distillery which has the unique advantage of the highest Water Source in Scotland. It’s not all about the Whisky though – we’ve a boat trip on Loch Linnhe, a visit to Inveraray Castle and spectacular journey’s over historic passes and passing stunning lochs.

Excursion 1
A morning visit to Inverary Castle, Home of the Duke & Duchess of Argyll on the shores of Loch Fyne. Inveraray Castle is first and foremost a family home in which the Campbells have had the great privilege of residing for generations. Its very existence reflects the part played by the family in the rich tapestry of Scottish and British history. The contents of the castle span many generations and offer visitors a glimpse into a remarkable heritage and the way ancestors lived. From here we travel via Glen Aray to the shores of Loch Awe and over the Pass of Brander as we head to Oban for our afternoon visit which includes free time in the town and a chance to experience the Oban Distillery.
Excursion 2
Passing the Northern shores of Loch Lomond today enjoying the scenrey of Glen Falloch and spectacular Glencoe as we travel to Fort William. On arrival we enjoy a wonderful sail on Loch Linnhe taking in the surrounding landscapes from the tranquil water. Today we also enjoy a visit to the Ben Nevis Distillery, producing a whisky from the highest water source in Scotland - don't worry you don't have to walk to the summit for a dram, the distillery is picturesquely situated at the foot of the mountain.
Excursion 3
Today we follow the shores of Loch Fynes Southwards, passing Loch Gilphead to the peninsular of Kintyre. Unhurried, unspoiled and unforgettable. The Kintyre peninsula is studded with small villages, wild beaches, prehistoric and Celtic archaeology, and abundant wildlife, yet, it remains remarkably undiscovered. We journey along part of the fabulous Kintyre 66 to Campbeltown, the main town on the peninsula and once proclaimed the whisky capital of the world. Once we arrive here we enjoy lunch and a visit to one of the three remiaing Distilleries in the town.
