Since his arrival in 1980 the then, Prince Charles with the help of his gardeners have transformed what was one a bleak landscape into one of the most creative gardens, different areas each with their own character and purpose are interlinked and embody the Princes environmental beliefs. Our special break also includes visits to the stunning Wye Valley with a sail at Symonds Yat & medieval Tewkesbury.

Day One
We travel to the lovely town of Tewkesbury, with its wonderfully preserved historic streets to explore and the magnificent Abbey it is like stepping back in time. We then continue to our hotel and enjoy a relaxing evening with dinner.
EMDay Two
We'll have a leisurely morning around the hotel before heading off to Highgrove for our 2 hour tour garden tour with one of the gardeners. Learn all about the extraordinary series of gardens including the Stumpery, the magnificent Wild Flower Meadow, impressive kitchen garden and much more. Following our tour we will have enjoy a delicious two course lunch served in the Orchard Room restaurant, the menu is created by the Highgrove Chef’s using the most seasonal and responsibly sourced ingredients. Free time to browse the Highgrove Shop is also given before returning to the hotel, time allowing we may pop into Chelteham town centre for a little free time. Please Note Suitable footwear and photographic ID is required for the tour.
B, L, EMDay Three
We head into the wonderful Wye Valley this morning enjoying a lovely sail on the River Wye from Symonds Yat. Following our cruise we enjoy the scenery as we travel to Ross on Wye where we spnd some free time before returning back to the North West, keeping away from the Motorway and arriving back into Poplar Services for approx, 6.30pm
