The first night is spent in Tel Aviv, followed by 2 nights in Tiberias where you will get the opportunity to visit the site of Christs miracle the feeding of the 5000 and Mt Beatitude where He preached the Sermon on the Mount. Jerusalem will be your base for the remaining 4 nights where highlights include walking the Via Dolorosa and visiting the Church of the Holy Sepulchre, which houses both the traditional site of the Crucifixion and the Tomb of the Resurrection

You will be collected from Home and taken to Meet Joan, david and the rest of the group at Manchester Airport for your flight to Tel Aviv. Tel Aviv is a bustling city on the Mediterranean coast.
JAFFA - CAESAREA - TIBERIAS
Begin your day with a visit to Jaffa for a wonderful walking tour of the pretty alleys of the old, fortified town. You will then drive along the coast to the archaeological ruins of Caesarea and then to Megiddo, the place predicted to be the site of Armageddon in the New Testament’s Book of Revelations, an ancient city that has been incessantly inhabited for more than 5,000 years. You will then head to the Sea of Galilee. Overnight in Tiberias.
TIBERIAS - SEA OF GALILEE - TIBERIAS
Start your day from Tiberias, where Jesus lived and preached on the shores of the Sea of Galilee. Journey towards Capernaum, the centre of Jesus’ ministry and to Tabgha, the site of Christ’s miracle of the “Feeding of the 5,000” and the Church of Multiplication. You will then go onto Mt Beatitudes where Jesus preached the ‘Sermon on the Mount’ and where it is believed that Jesus selected his 12 Apostles. Ascend the Golan Heights to appreciate the panoramic views of the peaks of Mt. Hermon and the Hula Valley below. Overnight stay in Tiberias.
NAZARETH - BEIT SHEAN - JERUSALEM
Head to Cana to visit the Wedding Church where Jesus performed his first miracle, “Turning Water into Wine”. Then travel to Nazareth, where Jesus spent his childhood and the Church of Annunciation, built on the site where Christians believe the Archangel Gabriel appeared to the Virgin Mary. You will also visit Mary’s Well and Joseph’s Church. Driving through the Jordan Valley to Beit Shean you will explore its recently excavated amphitheatre and visit the excavations of this conserved Roman City. Continue on to Jerusalem. Overnight stay in Jerusalem.
MASADA - DEAD SEA - JERUSALEM
On your way to the Dead Sea, you will visit the site of the Qumran Caves* where the Dead Sea Scrolls were found. Continue on to Masada which is located on an isolated cliff in the Judean Desert, a site declared as a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 2001. Ascend by cable car to the fortress, which was the last stronghold of the Jewish Zealots in their war against
the Romans. See the excavations, King Herod’s palace, the synagogue and bathhouse. Enjoy the breath-taking view of the Roman camps and the Dead Sea. You may be able to “float” in the salty, mineral rich, waters of the Dead Sea. Overnight stay in Jerusalem.
JERUSALEM - BETHLEHEM*
Your day will begin at the Israel museum’s Shrine of the Book with the famous Dead Sea Scrolls, then to the renovated model of the Herodian city of Jerusalem. Enjoy the scenic village of Ein Karem (birthplace of John the Baptist). Explore Yad Vashem, the memorial to the 6 million Jews killed in the Holocaust. On to Bethlehem*, the birthplace of Jesus to visit the Church of Nativity and Manger Square. Overnight in Jerusalem.
Enter through one of the gates of the walled Old City to visit the renewed Jewish Quarter, Western Wall, the Temple area and the colourful bazaars. You will be able to walk along the Via Dolorosa and the Stations of the Cross ending at the Church of the Holy Sepulchre. In the afternoon you will drive to Mt Zion to visit the tomb of King David and the room of the
last supper. Enjoy panoramic views of Jerusalem from atop the Mount of Olives. Continue to the Garden of Gethsemane where Judas betrayed Jesus. Overnight in Jerusalem.
RETURN FLIGHT FROM TEL AVIV
Our flight is due to depart Tel Aviv at 9pm, so we'll get some free time around Jerusalem before our mid afternoon transfer to Tel Aviv airport for your return flight to the UK. Once back into Manchester Airport vehicles will be waiting to transfer you back to your home.
For anyone who wishes there is the option to extend your trip with visit to Jordan, Joan & David won't be doing this, but if you would like more information on this please don't hesitate to ask.
