Visit a 13th Century Castle, be amazed on one of the World’s best scenic railways to Skye, keep your eye out for some inhabitants of the sea on our glass bottom boat ride, explore the beautiful Isle of Skye and experience the dramatic Western Highlands

Day One

Heading North of the border to the first of our hotels in pretty Perthshire – the Angus Hotel in Blairgowrie.


Day Two

We enjoy a day exploring the beautiful scenery and landscapes of Perthshire and have also included a visit to a local Whisky Distillery for a tour and tasting


Day Three

Our adventure continues today and our first stop is Blair Castle, one of Scotland’s most wellknown, dating back to the 13th Century and full of Scottish Cultural History. Following our visit here our journey continues through the stunning glens on the A9 as we head into the Highlands. Our next stop is the capital of the Highlands – Inverness, we’ll spend the afternoon
here before heading to our hotel – The Garve. Whilst in Inverness why not visit the Castle, St. Andrews Cathedral or take a stroll along the River Ness.


Day Four

We’re heading to Skye today and talk about taking the scenic route!! We board the Kyle Line train in Inverness and experience the scenery of this epic 80 mile journey. Sit back, relax and witness formidable jagged peaks, dense sweeping forests, wild hillsides and sparkling lochs. On arrival at Kyle we our glass bottom boat for a wonderful hour long sail. Voted the best wildlife watching experience by the Telegraph we will sail under the Skye Bridge to Seal Island with the opportunity of seeing otters, seals and puffins as well as the WW2 500ft Shipwreck HMS Napier. We spend the evening at the Lochalsh Hotel


Day Five

We hop over the Bridge this morning and onto the Isle of Skye – offering a unique beauty with strange rock formations, steep cliffs and spectacular mountain ranges, it is as surreal as it is stunning. Our first stop will be the colourful capital of Portree, with its scenic harbour. From here we head to the West Coast for a stop off at Dunvegan for photo’s of the Loch and Castle. We’ll then enjoy stunning sea views as we pass the Cullin Mountain Range as we head to Armadale for our ferry back to the mainland. Here we join the ‘Road to the Isles’ to head to our next hotel – the Onich Hotel, en-route we have a photo stop at the Bonnie Prince Charlie Monument and the Glenfinnan Viaduct.


Day Six

Our final day in the Highlands and we head South along the shores of Loch Linnhe to the lovely town of Oban. See the boats heading out the Isle of Mull and beyond, enjoy some smashing seafood or visit McCaigs Tower for amazing views


Day Seven

We return home via more spectacular scenery arriving back around 7pm

Angus Hotel * * *

The Angus is a family run hotel in the heart of Blairgowrie offering a warm and friendly welcome. The Bay Tree Restaurant offers an informal yet stylish atmosphere, sourcing local

ingredients where possible. Don’t forget your swim wear to make use of the leisure facilities including indoor pool sauna and spa bath. Bedrooms are comfortable with TV, tea/coffee making facilities and hairdryer. Lift.


Garve Hotel, Garve * * *

Located in Wester Ross and situated in attractive gardens leading down to the Black Water River. The hotel has a lovely restaurant and bar and the bedrooms are all en-suite with TV & tea/coffee making facilities. Lift.


Lochalsh Hotel, Kyle of Lochalsh * * *

Boasting a fabulous setting on the shoreline looking out towards Skye and the Skye Bridge. There’s warm Highland hospitality waiting with a lovely restaurant bar and lounge area. Many of the en-suite rooms offer views across the water whilst all of them have TV and tea/coffee making facilities. Lift.


Onich Hotel * * *

A lovely family run hotel with a picturesque loch side setting with beautiful gardens and inspiring views across Loch Linnhe. Bedrooms offer TV, tea/coffee making facilities &

hairdryer. No lift rooms on first or 2nd floor.
